According to MSU’s Office of the Registrar, the university will award degrees to approximately 1,855 undergraduate students, 371 graduate students. It will also award 218 associate degrees and certificates to Gallatin College MSU students.
Morning Ceremony: Students from the College of Arts and Architecture, Jake Jabs College of Business and Entrepreneurship, College of Letters and Science, and the Mark and Robyn Jones College of Nursing will graduate at 10 a.m., with the procession beginning at 9:40 a.m. During the ceremony, I-Ho Pomeroy, a restaurateur known for her charity work and who served on the Bozeman City Commission, will receive a posthumous honorary doctorate.
Afternoon Ceremony: Students from the College of Agriculture, College of Education, Health, and Human Development, Norm Asbjornson College of Engineering and Gallatin College MSU will graduate at 2:30 p.m., with the procession beginning at 2:10 p.m. During the ceremony, Paul R. Wylie, a lawyer, engineer, historian, author and MSU alumnus, will receive an MSU honorary doctorate.
