Art Center - John Banovich

VISIT THE BANOVICH ART CENTER

We are pleased to share our 6500 square foot Art Center in one of the most beautiful places in North America, Paradise Valley, Montana. Located 11 miles south of Livingston, Montana and 45 minutes from Yellowstone National Park, with the Absaroka Mountains rising like a fortress behind it, the new Banovich Art Center stands tall above the valley floor. With reverence paid to the agricultural roots of the region, architectural design including cold rolled steel and wood siding give a seasoned appearance, as if it has experienced decades of the extreme Rocky Mountain elements. Inside you will be transported through art to some of the wildest places on earth.  New art, new collectibles and new stories will continually emerge from behind the 10 foot doors.  A place that will continue to evolve with timeless creative energy, every visit will be an unique guest experience.  We will be hosting special events, public appearances and important exhibitions centered around the celebration of Wildlife and Wild Places and the important role both play in enriching our lives.  Through this cultural platform we hope to imbue an understanding that art can move, reveal and inspire to seek a deeper understanding of the world around us; it can paint a face on an idea, a region, a cause and help engage us at visceral level to conserve our wildlife heritage. You are all welcome to come and visit as something WILD awaits you!

Join us as we watch trains rumble through Southwest Montana!  The Livingston Model Railroad Club operates a large HO scale layout.  While most of the railroad represents generic scenes in Southwest Montana, one section of the layout is a highly accurate reproduction of the Gardiner Loop, which at one time served daily passenger trains full of tourists entering Yellowstone National Park.

The Livingston Model Railroad Club meets Tuesdays and Saturdays at 7:30 PM in the basement of the former Northern Pacific baggage building at the Livingston Depot Center.
‼️ The Club is closed for track maintenance 🛤
on the first Tuesday of every month.
During the summer ☀️ months the Club hosts additional hours on Thursdays from 1 PM to 4 PM .

Trains run for display with great tracks and backgrounds, and all ages are invited to drop by.

Livingston has a rich, expansive art community, and we want the world to know about it! The Livingston Gallery Association is a group of business owners who work together to promote our local art and culture by collective advertising in prime locations  and by creating  Fourth Friday Night Art Walks.
We believe a healthy community has access to and engagement in art, so for 4 months in the summer and once in the winter, the LGA puts on a Fourth Friday Art walk. The galleries stay open late, offer snacks, community and, of course, a lot of art. At the art walks, people stream through the downtown and Livingston is abuzz with life.
